I don't believe it says anywhere what happens if I decide to stop paying for the version with 2500 people. Does this mean I am forced to keep paying until the death of me? Or does this mean everything I have added while in the upgraded version will be deleted? Hopefully, the real case is the best one in my opinion, where the family tree becomes read-only when you reach the limit.
I have written a contact form but I don't know how long it will be until I receive a reply so I came here to ask. I hope somebody with this experience can help.
I have just upgraded ,and asked that question of MyHeritage ,before I did.Their answer was that everything will remain exactly as was when you stopped paying, but you would no longer be able to add more people and/or photographs(if you had reached the limit before upgrading).Hope this helps.
Hi, I dont know the exact answer to your question although I can answer from my experience.
My brother has stopped his subscription and not renewed, I am a member of his site and I cannot do anything on the site, but I have been to sites that have large trees that are accessable.
You ask about paying the upgrade price for 5 years for my site is £477.00£238.50 (only £3.98 per month
I believe that £3.98 a month is not a bad deal if you consider how much a simple virus subscription for the computer cost per year.
Thanks for the advice thus far. If you could, it would be extremely helpful if you could get your brother to see what happens when he tries to access his site.
Also, I'm not asking you to do this, but do you think it's possible for your brother to renew and then be able to access the whole tree (unchanged) again?
