hello all i am fresh man. i want to creat the celebrity collage, and after i put my photo(jpg bmp png) in it ,it always report that:error:could not load configuration file. why? can anyone tell me what can i do ? thanks.
my computer crashed. I went to my on line family tree and clicked on manage trees. At one time you were able to restore your tree to your computer from there. There is no line. I then tried the download link. I can down load the program, but can't seem to get my information into it. How do I do this.
I am new to this site, and have uploaded all my familys information. I seen where one can make a chart or a book. I made both and the links were sent to my email address. When I click on the "download you family chart" link in the email, a new tab pops up but nothing happens.
Can anyone tell me why this is? Do you need to be a subscription premium to view these?
When you send a birthday greeting a day before the birthday, is there any way to see that greeting after you send it, but before the birthday? I have relatives posting the same birthday greeting twice because they forgot that they sent the first one.
I accidently moved all the photos that are in my tree to the recycle bin; then I accidently emptied it. Is there any way I can get them back? I can't restore them from my site because my tree has more photos now then the site has.
You moved them to your computer's recycle bin? I don't think you can get them back. You might if you could hire an expert who can go deep into your computer's memory, but I don't even think that's possible.
This isn't the first time i've accidently deleted photos; there's a company near where I live that specializes into computer repair; including file restoration.
that's the thing; the folder that I deleted was the myheritage folder with the pictures. But that doesn't matter anymore, i went through the internet and found some replacement pictures.
I have just received a number of Photo's from early 1900s, some of them are children and some I suspect are the same children in later life, My question is this, Can I compare the photo's using face recognition? if so how do I go about it?.
I don't believe it says anywhere what happens if I decide to stop paying for the version with 2500 people. Does this mean I am forced to keep paying until the death of me? Or does this mean everything I have added while in the upgraded version will be deleted? Hopefully, the real case is the best one in my opinion, where the family tree becomes read-only when you reach the limit.
I have written a contact form but I don't know how long it will be until I receive a reply so I came here to ask. I hope somebody with this experience can help.
I have just upgraded ,and asked that question of MyHeritage ,before I did.Their answer was that everything will remain exactly as was when you stopped paying, but you would no longer be able to add more people and/or photographs(if you had reached the limit before upgrading).Hope this helps.
Hi, I dont know the exact answer to your question although I can answer from my experience.
My brother has stopped his subscription and not renewed, I am a member of his site and I cannot do anything on the site, but I have been to sites that have large trees that are accessable.
You ask about paying the upgrade price for 5 years for my site is £477.00£238.50 (only £3.98 per month
I believe that £3.98 a month is not a bad deal if you consider how much a simple virus subscription for the computer cost per year.
Thanks for the advice thus far. If you could, it would be extremely helpful if you could get your brother to see what happens when he tries to access his site.
Also, I'm not asking you to do this, but do you think it's possible for your brother to renew and then be able to access the whole tree (unchanged) again?
I have typed so much into this program about each of my family members, their occupations, religion, hobbies, places they have lived, misc. I was really excited to be able to print out books for my family.
When I print the family book, everything I have written about the person is not there. Sometimes, part of it is there. Is there an option to be able to print everything that you have inputed about each family member.
I really need to know this before I continue entering information.
Thank you for your time. I can give you two specific situations, although there are many.
1. Steve Preston Perepelycia (page 8 of my last family book)
Military Service, Misc, Hobbis, and Name Change are not printed.
2. Steve's father, Onofre (page 11)
Name Change is not printed
I have so much more information to add to this tree and am excited to print the book for my family. I do hope that it is something that can be corrected. In other circumstances there was only a portion of the information entered that actually printed in the book.
When I generate an allinone tree to pdf some of the relatives arn't positioned in the right place and they run off on a branch that almost stretches the whole width of the tree. How do I fix this?
