Why are there smaller copies of the photos in my Family Tree Builder project file?

Whenever you add a photo to the family tree Family Tree Builder creates several thumbnails of that photo. It uses these thumbnails when loading the tree in order to make loading more smooth and faster.

These smaller photos are necessary for the proper display of your photos in reports/charts/personal photos/etc. in your tree.
