Why is my Basic family site plan limited to 250 people, it used to be 500 people?

We have remained a free site for many years, and in order to continue to serve our millions of users we have changed the quotas of basic accounts, a few years ago.

We must maintain MyHeritage as a sustainable business so that you and our other users will be able to continue enjoying it for many more years to come!

The new limit of 250 people for a basic site is a total for all trees that you have made on your site, or published to your site. If you have reached your quota, you will not be successful in adding to existing trees, or publishing again to your site, until you have upgraded your family site.
